Dr Sanjeewa Hewa graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2012.
Prior to entering general practice, he trained extensively in emergency medicine as a registrar in the Emergency Medicine fellowship program. Then he moved to General Practice and achieved the Fellowship of RACGP in 2018.
Proficient in all aspects of general practice, he has also trained in Implanon insertion/removal procedures and skin biopsies. Further, he holds a professional certificate in skin cancer medicine.

Other than English, Sanjeewa is fluent in Sinhalese. Sanjeewa enjoys spending time with his son outside of work, travelling and gardening.
