Dr Richard Fletcher qualified as family GP in the UK in 2010, and emigrated permanently to Australia in 2018.
He is interested in the management of long-term conditions and supporting patients with mental health conditions. Dr Fletcher works closely with age care facilities in the surrounding area and has significant experience in aged care medicine. Dr Fletcher has a keen interest in cardiac and musculoskeletal medicine; working with the patient to achieve the best possible recovery and maximum return to fitness. As an experienced family physician he delivers excellent care in looking after all members of our community and is a PreP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis) prescriber.
A firm believer in patient-centred care and the importance of lasting patient-doctor relationships, Dr Fletcher says; “I believe in putting the patient at the heart of decision making, supporting you through good times and bad, with the reassurance of excellent care at every turn in life”.
To ensure COVID-safe delivery, Dr Fletcher is able to offer care and enhanced services via Telehealth using FaceTime video call. Appointments with Dr Fletcher are available Monday – Thursday, 9am-5pm at our clinic. On Fridays, he works supporting aged care residents.
