Dr Maher completed her medical degree in North Queensland in 2006. Afterwards, she came to Victoria to undertake GP training, obtaining the college of General Practice fellowship in 2012.
Jessica has worked at Albert Park Medical Centre since 2013. She has a diploma in child health and enjoys the challenges of paediatric medicine, a specialty she spent 2 years working in prior to commencing her career in General practice.
Dr Maher enjoys all areas of family medicine and understands the importance of both physical and mental well-being. She has a particular interest in women’s health (including menstrual issues, fertility, menopause, cervical screening, and implanon insertion), and preventative medicine, and is very experienced in skin cancer medicine.
When not working, she is kept busy by her two young sons. She enjoys travelling both close to Melbourne and further afield, and going to the theatre when she gets a chance.
