Dr Colin Glendinning

MB, BS, DRANZCOG

Dr Glendinning grew up in the Sutherland Shire and trained at Sydney University and then at St George Hospital. My first general practice was at Bundeena surrounded by the beautiful Royal National Park. I was the village Doctor for 13 years, married and had four children. During that time I obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics.

I moved to London where I worked in a variety of general practices. When I returned to Australia I joined with Dr Mark Coverdale and we purchased a general practice in Gymea that had already been servicing the local area for about 40 years. From our commencement in 1991 the practice grew to 8 doctors, 3 nurses and administration staff.

My special interests now in general practice are men’s health and the detection and treatment of skin cancers and I have a certificate in Skin Cancer. I do however enjoy all aspects of general practice.

My recreational interests include cycling, gardening, boating and collecting model ambulances. I am also a member of a local church and on 4 occasions I have visited a school in Katoke, Tanzania as part of a health team.

He works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and is unable to see new patients at this time.
