Dr Mozna Tahhan

MD, DIS-DU, FRACGP

Dr Mozna Tahhan received a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Aleppo in Syria, in 1985. She completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2009. Prior to that, she completed post-graduate studies in paediatrics and neonates (DIS- DU) in France in 1994. From this, she gained extensive experience in paediatrics as a paediatrician consultant overseas. She worked for 10 years at Goulbourn Valley Health, the Northern Hospital, Cobram District Hospital and Cobram Medical Clinic before joining our team at Modern Medical Craigieburn in 2014. In addition to her outstanding skills in general paediatrics and neonates, Dr Mozna has special interests in women’s health, mental health and minor surgeries.

She enjoys practising in Australian multicultural communities and participating in the selection process for future GP registrars.

Dr Mozna also loves music and multicultural cuisines. Besides English, she is fluent in Arabic and French. She is an experienced doctor in Craigieburn who enjoys providing her patients with high-quality care, by getting to know them and understanding their individual health needs.
