Dr Peter Nicolaai is a GP with 18 years of experience in general practice in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. He has been practising in the Western suburbs of Melbourne for the past 16 years and prior to that in New Zealand for 8 years. Other than general practice work in NZ he was also a team doctor for a provincial rugby union team Manawatu Turbos for 3 years.
His special interest includes Travel Medicine and he has been involved with Travel Clinics Australia for the past 12 years and enjoys it. He likes family medicine, has a soft spot for kids and loves Children’s medicine. He does minor surgical procedures like mole removal, ingrown toenail removal and Implanon insertion and removal. He also has an interest in preventative health and chronic disease management.
