Dr Simon Shirzad is a specialist General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General practice (FRACGP). He graduated in 2014 from Monash University and undertook the majority of his post-graduate training at Monash Health before completing his GP training throughout sites in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Simon is interested in all aspects of general practice and has broad experience in internal medicine and paediatrics through various rotations at Monash Health. Additionally, he has a special interest in skin and skin cancer medicine. He has worked with the dermatology department at Monash Health as well as working as a Clinical Fellow at the Victorian Melanoma Service at Alfred Hospital and is currently completing further qualifications in skin cancer medicine. Simon enjoys a patient-focused approach to medicine and looks forward to helping his patients achieve their health goals.
Outside of work Simon lives locally and is a busy father to 3 children. As a family, they enjoy going on hikes, camping, bike riding and enjoying the great outdoors.
