Dr Thet Thiri Nwe

MBBS, DCH, FRACGP

Dr Thet Thiri Nwe is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Medicine (1) Yangon, Myanmar, in 2008. She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020. In 2017 she completed a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the University of Sydney.

After practising as a General Practitioner in Yangon, Myanmar, following her graduation, Dr Nwe migrated to Northern Territory, Australia, in 2014 and joined Alice Springs Hospital. She then moved to Victoria in 2018, continuing her career in General Practice.

She has special interests in Women’s health, Children’s health, Mental health, and Geriatric and Chronic Disease management.

Dr Nwe speaks Burmese in addition to English.
