Dr Umanga De Silva

Dr Umanga De Silva is a female practitioner with over 21 years of experience as a doctor gained overseas (Sri Lanka) and in Australia. Dr De Silva has worked in Australia as a GP for the last 13 years (since 2009), and most of it was in a rural country town, Deniliquin.

Dr De Silva was awarded a Fellowship (FRACGP) in 2012. In addition to her MBBS & FRACGP qualifications, Dr De Silva has also achieved MSc & MD qualifications in community Medicine.

Dr De Silva has extensive experience working as a GP in rural & metropolitan GP clinics and rural hospital settings, including managing patients in the wards & emergency department, nursing homes and aboriginal medical service clinics.
